Here are a bunch of much more expensive B4 to (you have a choice of cameras) adaptors sold by AbelCine: https://www.abelcine.com/store/Optical-Adapters/. They note a 2 to 2.5 stop light loss.

I’ve used the Voyager for years to transfer all sorts of data. However, if you’re thinking future you might want to consider a Thunderbolt transfer dock like the hHighPoint RocketStor RS5212 Thunderbolt Storage Dock. I haven’t used that, but it looks good.

I have used a Seagate Backup Plus Portable Thunderbolt Adapter with SATA drives and it works very well.

I agree with you, Ty. Up to now nothing’s really worked. We’ll know soon if RX3 can do it. Once upon a time I never thought it was possible to remove sounds from within a mixed track.

Isotope’s new RX3 (coming in Sept) has a de-reverb module that might help. I’ve used Isotope RX, etc. since it was first introduced and its capabilities are terrific. If you can wait until September, it might help.

I haven’t read of the camera doing 60fps. As for adaptors, I’ve used a Nikon to MFT adaptor from Novoflex. Here’s one for Canon to MFT. There are other adaptors out there including one from Redrock Micro that powers the lens. Remember the BMCC’s MFT mount is passive.

I can’t answer that. If you need a camera right away, the BMPC isn’t available. But, it’s possible it will be released as stated in a few weeks. If you need 4k you have to wait a bit or go with another camera. I was on a waiting list for the BMCC MFT, but changed that to a BMPC. I’m thinking of going back to the BMCC as I don’t really need 4k and I have a number of MFT lenses. Compressed RAW doesn’t bother me. The RED uses compressed RAW.
