When you double-click the transition most of the FX Factory plugs have a selection in the controls that appear of “Clamp to White” or “Clamp to Super-White.” Try switching that to the other position. I’ve not seen what you describe, but maybe that will help.

Good advice using magenta and amber as minus green/minus blue. Not to harp on a number, the reason we go with lower light on the green/blue is to reduce spill.

Regardless of the keying plugin you use, make sure the light on the green screen is completely even across the screen and it’s not hotter than 50 units. Use a waveform monitor! That will make keying much easier during post.

Why not import the audio into PPT and sync up the slides there. Then export PowerPoint Shows (PPS) of each onto a CD or DVD. They will play on a Mac or PC, although, people will need wither PPT or PowerPoint Player (free).

I second the Izotope recommendation. We have SoundSoap Pro and Izotope. While SoundSoap works in certain situations, Izotope has much more to offer. It will remove discrete sounds from under dialogue. It repairs clipping! And more. Their website has many examples of what it can do.

We use a MBP with Duel adaptor in the field. If we need to xfer P2s in the shop, we use the MBP & Duel across the network.
