    Hello,

I’m using FxFactory in an offline/ online (DV Anamorphic to Pro Res (HQ) 1080i) workflow and I’m noticing that certain effects that overdrive the whites in the offline, over drive to pink in the online. Any thoughts?

The only thing I can figure is that the offline machines are newer than the online machine.

I’ve tried changing the pro res sequence to 8 bit from high precision and re-applying the effect, changing the render bit depths in the FxFactory app. All to no avail.

I recently had to update the graphics card to eliminate the “can’t render this effect at this size” message.

Any additional thoughts would be appreciated.

    my system is:
    2x 3GHz Quad
    8 GB RAM
    Nvidia GeForce 8800

    Thanks in advance.

What effect are you using and have you tried the Noise Industries forum? Do you have a combination of any effects?

When you double-click the transition most of the FX Factory plugs have a selection in the controls that appear of “Clamp to White” or “Clamp to Super-White.” Try switching that to the other position. I’ve not seen what you describe, but maybe that will help.
