“Can the art of lighting design keep up with the science , or will creativity vanish and lighting design become the victim of its own technology?”

    Hi,
i am currently in the middle of an essay with the above title and would love to get opinions from lighting designers and people within the industry.

You could give Picasso a mud puddle and branch and he would create wonderful art. Give me the best canvas, oils and brushes and the result would be mediocre. It’s always the talent behind the toys.
