Thx Mike, thx Ed, how critical is filenaming? does it have to be xxx.0001, xxx.0002 etc, like tgs’s for animation?

took a while but i’m there, thx all this will save me HOURS… last show (2 hours) took six hours to mix FX and VO, this script will probably do it while i make cuppa tea, probably don’t always need the Blue Cat envelope as the vo’s will be cut, great script!!!

hmmmn, almost there, but i don’t have an option for track automation with the Blue Cat effect?

that almost works Ed, but as you say i have to delete silence, which Blue Cat tool do i use to avoid that then?

thx Mike, have to say i’m enjoying Vegas, i’m cutting looong shows, 2hrs plus and no real problems so far, audio is particularly sweet!!!

i should explain that Velocity is my Editor, i’m helping a local company who have just lost their editor and i need to get up to speed with Vegas, i kinda see the point of this ‘loop’ feature now, thanks,

i just don’t see the point of it! i’m constantly having to drag the end point back, maybe that’s just me, plus the function only loops one layer, if i have a short graphic on another layer what happens to that?

oh well… very useful for gfx but one REALLY annoying feature otherwise
