That layer is a precomp. You need to open the “About Us” composition and find the pink solid/shape that comprises that element and change it’s color. From looking at the flow chart there, it looks like you need to step into the composition “Shape 2” to get to that color. From your picture if you just click on “Shape 2″(above comp window) it should open that comp.

I don’t see an inner radius on your triangles, wonder if that is the issue. I just made one and it works okay. Take a look at my project and see if there is a difference between the two.

Most likely you hit the Collapse/Expand columns button in the bottom left corner of AE. To expand press “Shift+F4”. Pressing “F4” will toggle between “Transfer Modes” and the “Switches”, switches is the column that has your transform tools.
Also you can choose what you want to show, by right clicking above your layers names and choosing “Columns”.

That was a CS6 version. Do the newer versions of CC not open CS6, sorry that’s the only version I can send currently.

Knowing expressions is very helpful, but not a necessity or something I find a majority of AE users know, or know more than just a few basics. I think it’s important to have a good grasp of design theory &^ color theory.

Now I have other doubt: I have a shape layer with a map path, how I duplicate this shape layer path and transform into mask?
Twirl open the shape layer until you get to the “Path” stopwatch, then click on the word “Path” and “Cntl + C”. Select the layer you want to add the mask, and press “Cntl + Shift + N” to add a new mask and twirl open until you get to “Mask Path”, then paste “Cntl + V”.

The third to last icon in the replay dialogue will upload the image. After you upload it, click on the image, then copy and past the embed code into your message.
Please post an image, cause I’m not sure why your down scaled images are degrading. Also show your timeline in the post. Thanks
