It looks like the file was run through StuffIt, before you uploaded it. Just upload the .aep file without compression and let the Cow zip it. Post back here when you have uploaded the file.

The last icon in the reply box will allow you to upload the file on the Cow, or if you want to put it on Dropbox and post a link, that will work too. I’m leaving 5EST today, so if you post it before then, I’ll take care of it today, otherwise, it will be tomorrow.

You should be able to do that with Cinema4D lite which bundles with AE. If not, check out the Video Copilot plugin “Element”

Post the project – if it’s CS5.5, I have a version of CS6 here, I keep around just for that purpose. If it’s After Effects 5.5—I don’t know if I have anything that goes back that far….

Okay, I’m seeing that I need to use Inverse Kinematics to do what I need. Is there a easy way to get this .obj file to import better than I have been getting? When I merge objects, the above attachment was the only way I got more than 2 different layers by choosing “Materials” under the Splitting option. Is there something I can do to get this to come into C4D better, or do I need to reach out to the people who sent me the file and have them do something differently?

This is the original file, 13342_hanger.obj.zip

    Thanks

You could try the CD Recycle Center, you would have to ship it though. Just click the “Recycle Now” link

You could create your time warped clip, do a video mixdown of it – then reverse the mixdown.

I realize that now. That was probably 90% of my problem on Friday, not seeing that issue. I was thinking that their might be a way to make it so that the new input on the slider would adjust the other sliders and itself remain be fixed, until I adjusted another slider. IE…go from 25 to 28, BCD change to 24. Change B to 21 A to 28, CD to 25.

I’ll link the text to the slider output, and I should be good to go.

    Thank You too, Kalleheikki.

Thank you very much. I started out with a formula like that on Friday, it wasn’t working correctly and as I went I made it more and more complicated, which did not help the process at all.

    You are the best.
