We do have a Beta deck and a DBeta deck too, but they are wired in to a rack which is shared by 3 systems. It’d be better not to have to tie up the Beta deck just to run a VHS dub because we’re always busy with all 3 systems.
We have a sony PVM monitor which is pretty new, and it can definitely loop S-video out, so I wonder if it can also loop composite out from a component source. I’ll look into it.
Any more suggestions? Thanks!!

You might check out Boris Grafitti. The old version had some problems, but the newer one may be just the thing. It’s very powerful, you can use it inside of FCP and it has external video support. Check it out.
