DVCPro and 1080 are not mutually exclusive categories. DVCPro HD is a codec that can carry streams of 720p or 1080i. Or 1080p, which would be your best choice for greenscreen. Some cameras, like the HVX200, use an implementation of 1080i, 24 or 30p.
For close ups and medium shots 720p is adequate, but if you’re going for full body shots you’ll need the extra resolution of 1080 to preserve as much facial detail as possible. And a really good lens.
Another tip – i assume you’re shooting with an HVX or HPX – avoid the cine gamma settings like the plague for this type of shooting.Joey Foreman

The term you mean is scrubbing.
The second button at the top left of the Timeline is called Live Update and you probably inadvertently untoggled it.Joey Foreman

Your question isn’t very clear. Could you rephrase it?

The track is generated in MochaAE and you would still do the compositing in AE.Joey Foreman

All of the elements to be animated can be precomposed, then animated with the puppet tool. This tool is designed specifically for 2d character animation, so you should consult the manual and check out some online tutorials. It automates all the behind the scenes mechanics that you’re trying to implement manually.

Are you seeing the flicker in the AE comp window at Full Res, Full Quality – or only in a render? Do you know how to render losslessly?
Is your project all CG or is there video footage?
Video clips are deinterlaced by default on import into AE, but sometimes it improperly tries to deinterlace progressive footage and has to be told not to.
Please provide some more specs about your source footage and comp settings.Joey Foreman

I don’t think you can export camera data from AE, unless someone has specifically written a script or plug-in to do so.

How do the highlights look in the Quicktime player, or reimported into FCP?
Have you switched AE to 16 or 32 b.p.c?Joey Foreman

What do you mean by “scrolling”?

Sounds like way too much work for something that could be done relatively effortlessly with the Puppet Tool.
