    Hello again,..

    i have a major problem, seems like i did something that turned off the quick preview of the animation when scrolling the bar from left to right, i cant animate without that function, is there somebody who could help me out? I need to finish this animation soon

    i´ll be thankful for every answer

    hi there … you need to switch on ‘Live Update’ …. it is a button on the timeline window … i’m not in front of AE now, but if you search the help or google “Live Update” you should find it …

    The term you mean is scrubbing.
    The second button at the top left of the Timeline is called Live Update and you probably inadvertently untoggled it.

    I believe it’s called Ram preview and it allows you to preview small sections as if they were rendered. I don’t think After Effects will preview the whole timeline at rendered quality, or at least my computers won’t do it. Danny Hays
