further investigation reveals the framerate is 29.97, in a 29.97 project…when i make a new sequence with the clip, it makes it MXF OP1a, but the file is a QT….

interesting, when I open the original project, go to the clip, matchframe, it is fine…but when i reveal the clip in the project to look at the original clip, it is a completely different clip…..

When I look at an LTO-6 tape, the finder show less than what should be available….

if my calculations are correct…I have copied 1774 GB to an LTO-6 tape (that totals 2560 GB), and should have 786 GB left…but my available space in the finder window shows 678 GB left. did I forget to carry a 1, or dot an i somewhere?

I installed v9 and it does indeed show full screen….so it is a v10 issue (with my MBP probably) that doesn’t help much for testing v10…

what is the size of that “project” file. We have had the same thing happen, after a full save and shutdown, come back in the morning and project is damaged…when looking at the file, I believe it was like 8kb….7MB project, 8kb save…autosave had correct file, only lost an hour, but still.

Sorry I don’t have any other fix for you, and yes, our editor was a little upset!

so NOW there is a 10.4.5 driver….wasn’t there yesterday…i’ll download that and try it…

thanks for the response….there is no 10.4.5 driver for the Kona 3 (or 3G for that matter since I tried this same workflow on another system with a 3G card) from AJA for the Kona..there is only 10.4.4, there is the 10.4.5 PLUGIN for Adobe, which I have installed and rebooted so it sees everything correctly.

I have Avid Symphony v6.0.3.3 installed on the Mac as well which installs the Codecs natively in the AVID. I cannot install the LE package for some reason and I’m troubleshooting that atm.

I can capture DNxHD145 through the VTR Excahnge, but the file info shows that it is a DNxHD 709 codec…but it does work in Premiere fine. I would love to just get DNx capture to work inside the app….

I am in touch with Adobe support on this as well…but if you have any other sugestins, lay them on me..I can’t be the only one with this issue.

one more thing I should mention, I am using the trial for testing purposes before we go and by a team license..but i wouldn’t think that DNx wouldn’t work in the trial as it should be a full version.

may be a little late, but go into your capture presets, click on the prores HQ setting, duplicate it, then edit it…change the codec to 422, and rename it….
