Thank you for this link. I was having the same problem as well. It appears that this is an “intermittent bug” related to Adobe CC. Hopefully a patch will come out soon.

Boooo! This is annoying. Especially when you have a long video in in your timeline. The playhead defaults all the way back to the beginning after it reaches the end of the last clip. This makes it very difficult to work on the last clip in your timeline. Putting some black video further down the track does work, but I hate goofy fixes like this. Adobe, make it better please!

July 3, 2012 at 3:02 pm in reply to: Premiere Pro renders blue

    PROBLEM:
I’m experiencing the blue phenomenon when rendering out a Quicktime as well. The clips that are rendering blue are for me are Quicktime files with Animation codecs that were created in AE.

    SOLUTION:
My workaround has been to import the PP sequence into AE and render out from AE. AE always seems to have more robust and flexible rendering capabilities than PP and AME, even though I know it too has its own limitations.

Why one pass for best quality? Why not two?

Yes! Nice idea! I’m using multiple feathered masks now on the edge of where the circle is being revealed. These masks are making use of turbulent displace, various particle systems and one even uses a displacement map. I’m hoping to build up the edge of the reveal to make it more interesting and by adding in glows and “add” blend modes I aim to give the appearance that the edge is very hot.

For the shine I’m going to try and use this technique:

    Thanks for your advice!
