“you can also try and find a used p2 store on eBay” what is a p2 store? Could I get an older powerbook with a card reader on it and use that? or is the pc a better way to go until the single card reader is out.
    thanks, joel

Thanks Noah. I believe it is the port on camera, as mac is bran new and it reads a multiple of hard drives on port. Is there another way to get info from cards to computer?

Shane, is this referring to an ONSCREEN time-code? If I send P2 QT files of an interview to a client, and they take the QT files from a disk and open in FCP, would there automatically be a “time-code” in the project?
Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

Thank you Noah. Any suggestions on how I can get my client to be able view an hour of quicktime footage without having fcp?

Turning off frame blend seems to make sense as it seems there is no need to blend frames in this situation… there are plenty frames..
Seems like if you were slowing down 24 frame it would have to “blend” to “create” a frame every other frame
..am I on the right track?

Jan, I shot a bunch of footage on 720/24pn and cranked it to 48p for slo-motion. It looks beautiful. A few of the shots I wanted to “double” the speed (switch speed to “200%”) but it looks pretty bad. Is there another step I should be doing?
    Thank you, Aloha,

I am uploading the folder (zipped) by using the “video upload” on this message board. It has been uploading all night (6hours so far), I have no idea how long it should take but the whole folder is 12.5 GB.
Am I on the right path to getting you the info? Much thanks

I just “zipped” the folder and tried, it said ‘invalid directory structure’..
