    If s/he’s not chewing with mouth open you may have luck with some of the distort menu effects in AE.

    Thanks for the responses.

    For what I would like to do I would need some sort of video input (composite)
    into the powerbook.

    Transferring photos into Picture Project(Nikon) and watching a slideshow
    is still a lot faster than processing film.

    I”ll often start with a layout grid and then hit center instead of default in the inspector (Align Menu).

    The other day I was doing something similar and in the Quicktime options I chose uncompressed 8 bit. It gave me a file similar in size to my original 300kb M100 files. When I exported as animation the file was substantially larger.

    Have you tried to create a black image in photoshop and substitute that for any m100 generated black clips?
