Freelance card given to other production companies , etc.

Did you try the text warp (bulge)?

You may want to separate the letters more and play with a blending mode.

Not pre built but, try making a blue rectangle 786 x 60 (R14G86B157)
70% opacity.

Then a white rectangle 786 x 30 (R235G235B235) 100% opacity.

Put the blue one over the white one with the bottom of the white settling a little below title safe.

Have you considered taping CNN and digitizing a clip so you could import a freeze frame into photoshop and try to copy the elements you like?
