I use a work tape in my UVW1800BetaSP deck and master to tape while looping through to my VHS deck.

I start my media 100 program at 1;00;00;00 and edit in on the tape at the sameTC. Should be accurate.

It appears I will need to get either a Keyspan Serial adaptor or the Stealth Serial Port to connect the cable to the Mac.

I did a search on both; nothing really hinted at which might be better although Keyspan seemed to come up more often.

Is one more reliable than the other?

Again Dual 1Ghz G4 OSX.28 Media100 V8.0

I occasionally send DVD’s overseas that I created in NTSC without any issues.

Could it be possible that your switching the buttons to PAL is the issue?

the one with the player is slightly larger but I
don’t think that is causing the delay.

Have you considered tweaking the preset?

Maybe a higher data rate or a 44100 sample rate.
