The video was shot in 24p…so, what happens if the sequence is then edited in 29.97 fps since I will be mixing some video elements that are 30fps…will the 24p video lookjittery on a 30fps sequence? What frame rate in the sequence settings would you use?

Sorry, I am new to FCP..

    thanks

Yes, the project audio rate is the same ….48……..could it be because you can’t have both FCP and Avid on the same computer?

I have added 2 drives, but I unplugged them and the problem persists….could it be because I added Final Cut? Can I have both systems in the same computer?

I have a Avid Express Pro with Mojo and I just bought some pretty good quality graphics from Digital Juice. Should I import them on DV25 or 1:1 compression. I am afraid that if I import at DV25…once I start compositing the graphics with start “tearing up”, however if I import at 1:1, how will that slow my system…I have 2 Laci external storage drives for this graphics and I am using the Mac OSX G5. Please help…

By the way…why is there not an ON/OFF switch on the Mojo Box?

Thanks in advance for your help

Hi…I just got the Varicam 2 months ago and been shooting in Arizona, and for some reason a lot of my shoots look a little washed out, very little contrast and little chroma. I am shooting in 24fps and using the default factory setting…Master gamma is a .45 and zebras at 80%. This happens indoors and outdoors. I sometimes use a Matte box with a Tiffen Warm Polarizer combined with a Tiffen 812 filter. This gives me better results. Do you recommend a set-up to help with this…

Also what is the best setting for shooting traffic night time lapses to get the streaky-lights look like 35mm film cameras? (Do you recommend 4fps with no shutter?)

    Thanks in advance!
