    I am just trying to be cautious…I have TONS of tapes that I have already captured, now I need to do the 2nd step , trim the fat. I would hate to have gone through ALL my tapes , and learn that I exported wrong out of Premiere!

    So let me ask you this Dave….I just captured a VHS tape as a DV file. While editing and exporting back out as a DV file, I noticed the freshly rendered avi looks dull compared to the original sharp looking footage. And yes…I did say “After Effects” lol. Would Premiere Pro be a better tool to edit this footage in? I am thinking the “dull” look was from not setting the field to lower.

    Any thoughts?
