You can do this with one timeline by using Return to Last Menu for the end action and remote menu fields.

Try the Delete button instead, then quit and relaunch Encore. Does that fix it?

If not, you should be able to import all your menus from the other project (they’re located in project folder\Sources\Menus).

Also, maybe tell a bit more about the slideshow.

Those aren’t too big (I remember a 12 megapixel issue, which doesn’t apply here).

Try this: go to Edit > Preferences > Audio/Video Out and click the Clean button for Media Cache Database. Close the project, then reopen it and try building again. Does that clear it up?

In general, it is not right that ImgBurn can burn any media at any speed. Many burner firmware routines no longer support 1x burning, because newer DVD media are formulated for safe minimum burning speeds at 2x or 4x. Although you can select 1x, I would be very surprised if it actually burned at 1x, unless you were using very old DVD-R media.

Frippy, if I may quote you from your previous reply:

[Frippy] Premiere and AfterEffects CAN NOT transcode PAL<>NTSC

Now you say they can? But not as good quality?

Well, what is it? Can they do it or not?

[Frippy] “ImgBurn – any speed, any media, any …:)”

Actually, that’s not true. For instance, ImgBurn lists speeds from 1X to 56X, regardless of media inserted. Let me know when you can burn DVD-RW at 56X.

No, burn speed is determined by burner firmware and media used. Whatever the lowest speed available is will be the one that is set up in the burner firmware for that media type/brand.

Sounds like it may be a bug in Encore Preview…I’ll check on it and post back.

Just author it with a 16:9 menu and your 16:9 timeline. A DVD player should automatically letterbox this if it’s in the standard 4:3 configuration.
