It is not possible to add CGMS/CSS/Macrovision to a burned DVD. Begin by removing it.
The rest may be a Nero problem- if you want to use an image as your source, you must tell Nero to burn from the image. This is a special command in the menu bar and not in their wizard. I don’t have Nero in front of me, so I don’t recall what menu it’s in.

Your menu and button transition aspect ratio must match.

Encore has a Character palette. From there, you can set the anti-aliasing for text.
However, you cannot specify anti-aliasing for subpictures, as DVD-Video subpictures are 2 bit text, meaning they have a single color and opacity value.

Yes, if you put the same video in multiple timelines, then you will increase the size of your project.
If you are using Encore 2.0, look into chapter playlists, which allow you to accomplish the same thing without increasing the amount of disc space used.

It’s not 19 or more chapter points in a timeline that’s the issue – it’s 19 or more chapter playlists per timeline that’s the bug.
So maybe George’s advice will work for you.

You’re missing the entire point on how this all works.
The menu remains in Encore. You’re using a video background to show the buttons fading in. Use the menu Loop Point property to indicate at what timecode the button highlights appear.

You can just import them as is and everything will be fine.

Encore usually does “remember” all transcodes. If you can find a way to reliably reproduce this problem, please let me know.

1. Start a new project
2. Import your assets
3. Create a new timeline (we’ll call this ‘timeline1’) – this makes it First Play
4. Drag your asset into timeline1
5. Create another new timeline (we’ll call this ‘timeline2’)
6. Drag your other asset into timeline2
7. Set the end action of timeline1 to timeline2Preview this, or export a DVD RW and test it in a player.
