Why doesn’t Encore hold a transcode?
Every so often when I open up my saved DVD project all my video files are no longer transcoded. So I have to retranscode all of them before I can burn another disc. This can take hours. Why is this happening and how do I stop it?

Encore usually does “remember” all transcodes. If you can find a way to reliably reproduce this problem, please let me know.

I have no control over when it happens… I could open the file once every two weeks four times in a row and the file will be fine… but then suddenly I could open it and it will need all the files re-transcoded.
