The slider in PowerDVD works with Encore 1.5 DVDs. This is not a parameter you have to set in Encore.
Not sure what’s up with the players you mentioned…

The feature is working, but it’s not working exactly as you would like it to.
So you have 85 chapters on a timeline, but you don’t want the first chapter in the chapter menu? It’s not clear to me exactly what you want to do, but Jeff’s suggestion is a good one.

That is a good question, Jennifer – I don’t know the answer definitively as I haven’t tried it myself, but I expect that would work.

No, of course I’m not blaming you personally for the problem. But I don’t see it, and further suggestions of help Jeff so far didn’t seem to be very well received by you.
What I am saying is that if you are seeing it, and others are not, then it would appear to be a configuration or conflict issue that is apparently unique to your system.

I fail to understand why you see this problem, and I don’t – and no one else has reported anything similar to it.

Encore does not add any “sign/mark” to DVDs.

This is the first that I’ve heard of this problem, and I don’t see it on my system.
Do the JPEGs all come from the same digital camera? Perhaps there’s a color profile embedded that’s causing the problem? (you should be able to remove a color profile when you open the JPEG in Photoshop, and then save it as JPEG or another image file format)

Yup, that’s what I mean…note also this feature will handle next, previous, and main buttons – just add them to your source menu (check the Help on how to set these up).
Sounds like some work, but it’s really quicker than doing it all by hand, and next time it’ll be a breeze. 🙂

This feature works only with a single timeline, so you’ll have to jigger it a bit for that requirement, but that’s the basic idea.
One thing I would do is not add the maximum amount buttons to the source menu, so you can easily add buttons to the generated chapter index menus later.
