Do you have a unique chapter playlist for each chapter, with the end action on the chapter playlist? You need to do that, if you did not.
As far as I know, transport streams are not Blu-ray legal. Export elementary streams.

DVD-Video has only a single frame size for each television format: 720×576 for PAL, and 720×480 for NTSC.
You can tell Encore not to scale an image, but to instead letter/pillar box it. Once you put an image in a slideshow or timeline, select it in the slideshow/timeline, then go to Properties and set the Scale popup to “Do Nothing”.

For your second, as I recall, MPEG-2 Transport Streams are not Blu-ray legal. And Encore prefers elementary streams.

Well, if my hunch is correct, there may be too much text in one or more subtitles. Try simplifying them so there is only one line per subtitle, or as few lines as possible.
Simplifying your subtitles may fix the error.

OK, so we know there are no Greek characters in the subtitles, then. So it’s probably not an issue with rendering complex glyphs.
Frankly, I’m running out of the usual suspects…
One more thing: is there more than one line of text in any subtitle?

No, by sans serif I mean a font that doesn’t have serifs. Myriad Pro is a sans serif font, so it’s probably not the font, although you could try something even simpler, such as Helvetica or Arial.
Are you using any special characters (i.e., unicode or Non-ASCII characters) in your subtitles? What language is it?

I meant were the subtitles extending outside of the frame. So it’s not that.

Do all your subtitles completely fit in the frame?

Change the resolution for a comp? Encore doesn’t have comps.
Do you want to change the resolution for a menu, timeline, or slideshow? You do that from the properties panel for each.
If you are asking about aspect ratio for the DVD project itself, there is no need to set this. Encore supports writing 4:3 and 16:9 content on the same DVD.
