well i have been playing with final cut pro and have come to the conclusion that this is not worth my time. nothing makes sense, I have no control where anything is, how this works or anything. I hate this upgrade. I would now go back to version 7. Total crap, foolish product upgrade

Thanks, I would try as soon as the rendering finishes. How about the flash importing issue. I realize the work around is to come out of flash as a MOV but it would be so time consuming if we can import directly into FCP, taking advantage of the vector base flash engine. Is there a way Raf?

I hear you Raf, it’s been a nice transition from After Effects/Premier to FCP, so much to learn but I honestly prefer FCP. I think we would just render the AE stuff when we need them, no big deal. Another thing, i tried to drop a FCP sequence onto another FCP sequence and could not do it. Could it be done?

Thanks Rafael i tried that but no matter what I do the assets are missing. It’s really a pain because as we migrate to FCP, we are finding more and more After Effects projects with very complicated effects that has to be integrated. I guess we’ll have to render them out and edit changes and render again.Bummer!!

Thanks to all that answered I found the answer by using “Motion” this is better that premier titler. Don’t see Boris though, kinda new to FCP so aybe it’s in the learning curve. Thanks again guys

Don;t get me wrong guys, I love Vegas, I’ve pretty much had it with After Effects and Premier so I am a fan but I had to do a project and it baffled me that I had no control off the bat with my sizes. I would have to manually do the size myself, just thought I was missing something, thanks a million all you guys

Thanks for your response but this is more an exercise on how to use the pan tool and I know that. The issue is that I want the still image that I am going to pan to be much bigger that it appears in vegas when I place it on the timeline. I use After Effects also and the image appears at it’s original size when it’s placed. Why on earth does Vegas resizes my photo is baffling to me. Can you imagine placing an 11X17 photo in a 5×7 artwork in photoshop and photoshop automatically sizes it. That’s what I am up against in Vegas. HELP!!
