Multiple Lines
Is there a way to create a multiple line title with different text styles. For example the title reads like this
1st line “The Title” this would be Myraid Pro Condense 50 point
2nd line “by John Smith” this would be Myraid pro condense 20 point
3rd “Product Name” this sould be myraid pro condense 10 point.Premier has an excellent titler, don;t know how to do this in FCP. Thanks in advance

Boris Title 3D. Built into FCP. IN the Viewer, click on the A, then BORIS, then TITLE 3D.

You’re right, I was think when you manipulate one line it changes em all.
But you can do with Boris Title 3D.Chris Tompkins

Thanks to all that answered I found the answer by using “Motion” this is better that premier titler. Don’t see Boris though, kinda new to FCP so aybe it’s in the learning curve. Thanks again guys

Boris is elusive but it is in the same place where you add slugs etc. I didn’t even know it existed until a phone consult with David Weiss!

My free version of the Lower Third generator allows three sections of text with different specs, with multiple lines of text per section.

Beside using Alex’s excellent generator you can do it in Motion as you obviously did.
Some nice option you have with Motion is to create Motion Templates. With this option handling of titles is way ahead of Boris or the Premiere titling stuff since you do have the possibility to change titles globally.
Some years ago I did a rough tutorial how to work with Motion Templates. Might give you some additional ideas.Andreas

Funny, I did a Final Cut Pro tip on this very subject last month. It’s the Boris 3D titler than Shane mentions.
