Just drag-resize the app to one monitor.

Shouldn’t be too hard to find the right version of QuickTime:

I’m not saying that it is the solution, but I don’t think 10.4.11 is supported for 2.7.2. AFAIK, you should be on 10.4.9 and QT 7.1.6, or upgrade the application.

It should work, but occasionally, it might go wrong, because a certain TC number gets hit or not.
Another option would be to just capture the entire tapes, and assign them the right tapename. This means you would have to allow the Avid to see tape names from other projects, and then you would need to select the exact right tape that was created in the older project.
After that, the sequences should (re-)link to that footage. Probably best to work with copies.

Should definitely work. Right version of Quicktime, and such?

Can the filenames be an issue?
WAV files should import just fine, whether they be monophonic or polyphonic.

Then Mark In and Out at the beginning and ending of each sequence, and – either above the Record monitor or in the Timecode Window (under Tools) – create a line that counts I/O, and make sure you select the right counter type (in this case, 35mm 4-perf is likely to make sense). If you are to measure in minutes and seconds, make sure that the Master TC is counting at the right speed (especially in PAL).

It’s feet and frames, not feet and inches. If you don’t know how to measure I/O in Avid, ask someone to point out the various options to perform that task.

Have you assigned Tape names to the P2 media? Might be that the Duck needs that to translate from MC to FCP.

Which plugin are we talking about here? Which version of Avid? What format & project type are you in?
