thank you. do i have to convert the 29.97 dv material to 23.98, progressive in compressor ahead of time, or should i import as is and just render afterward?

i think im going to set my project at 720p as alot of my quicktimes are 720p. should i do apple pro res, uncompressed, etc? what should my easy setup be? “all formats”?

the 1080 clips will look ok at 720? and i want to set it at 16×9. what size should i set my system settings?

thanks! the edges just look light they have a small hazy light around them…only on the subjects shirt. when i use “shrink/grow” to pull it back it effects the actresses hair.

thanks, stephan. i do have the AE renders set to “full” and “best” but it still looks ragedy when importing to FCP. i even started a new higher res project and it still looks like hell. however the quicktime itself looks great out of AE

a mac laptop and tv set. no scope. the whites are just blown out. no definition.

on the dvd they are really hot. but it looks fine in final cut pro.
