Brian, have you had this problem before, or is this the first time you are trying DVDA3?
When you click on “Make DVD,” are you then clicking on “Prepare,” or “Burn”? I have had better luck using “Prepare,” then burn the DVD from a program like Nero. (I use RecordNow Max.) Good luck! Jim

The more I think about it, the more I want to be able to use batch scanning, so if someone has some other ideas, I’m still interested. TIA, Jim

It just occurred to me that I could do all the repair work on the scan with several pics, then use pan and crop as you suggested. Thanks! Jim

Now that you mention it, I remember seeing that in one of your training videos. Most of the time, though, I need to work on the photos I get–get rid of red eye, e.g. Thanks for responding. Jim

I have to agree with Edward. I have had much better success using DVDA to “prepare” a project, then use Record Now to burn the DVD. I don’t think I’ve ever ended up with a “coaster” using this method – or if I ever did, it’s been a long time. Jim

I think it was a Windows issue rather than a Vegas issue. Seems to be working now. Jim

Sorry, I could have explained this better. I would like the screen to be black with an outline of text. I would like for video to be visible behind the text. However, I do not want the whole screen to be a button. Rather, I would like to have two buttons at the bottom of the screen, one saying “play all” and the other saying “chapters.” Hope that is clearer. Jim

Edward, thanks for looking at my veg file, and letting me know what I did wrong, not using the markers the way Excalibur 4.5 is designed to handle them. I appreciate you generosity and willingness to solve these “mysteries” for me. Jim
