Tried both of them, I did get aiff file but again, it had those mysterious clicks from 2 loops I added in GB. I think I might just drop the offending loops, weird but I don’t know what else to do.

I can import, but now the problem seems to be garage band, it works fine in GB but when I export to iTunes,AIFF and any other format I get the same clicks in the same place if it’s iTunes or AIFF or mp3. Funny thing is if I cut those offending clips out, it’s ok. It’s almost like 2 clips of piano don’t want to join the band.

Still not as GB 2nd half of clip has clicks in it. This is before I even import… so I think I’ll ride over to the GB boys and girls. Thanks.

Okay, I just changed it to DV50 NTSC and it loaded ok! I have a complicated 4 min video composed of HD ftg, DV fgt, photos and DVD file. Only a 5 min video.

In FCP7, I have ProRes 422 (LT) NTSC 48khz Anamorphic and Capture is DV NTSC 48khz Anamorphic. I had a piece load previously but it may have been DV50 NTSC if that matters.

I have a good file with HD.DV & photo clip, test. It looks great, I just can’t seem to get it on DVD. Are you saying I could maybe use Compression to solve that? Via QT file?

I’ve done some QT files, 1 minute tests, but not sure where to go with them. Mixing formats is not fun, at least for me, you never satisfy one or the other.

I’m totally new to Compressor, having just worked in basics, iDVD, etc. I’ve tried with many failures behind me.

Thanks, it worked, but just noticed some noise in b&w image, I had a choice when saving to do interlaced or not. I chose not, maybe I should try interlaced?

the audio was choppy, sort of like static every 2-4 seconds, could only hear bits of words. I called Apple tech who asked me to go to youtube and see if it was also choppy audio. It was so he surmised it was a bad sound card and made appt at a local Apple store.

Last night I had an update for flash appear and I updated it and audio became normal again. Don’t know why it was choppy and clipped and why it went away with flash update. But for now it works fine.
