Ive tried this option…..I get “specify a new location or replacement file”….when I go beyond this point, even down to the actual folder where the files are located, it continues to ask for a specific file name in the top dialog box….without entering something in this box, nothing more will happen…..I cant simply redirect to the overall p2 folders where I store my rough footage, or the C drive instead of the K (the external drive I backed up on)….Im stumped…

…and thats where Im feeling a bit obtuse….I looked at properties and preferences and cannot find a way to redirect back to the C drive where the original mxf’s are stored…..how do I accomplish that ?

  • Sony finally got back to me…..said to download their latest update, but did not address the issue specifically. latest build still has
the issue….it seems related to the speed of the transition…..if I play around with that, I can minimize the lines…..

Tried to post a demo file…..not sure what may have happened….have been out of town for a week….I did notice it is not just the zoom transition, but others as well….and the speed of the transition seems to have an effect…..still no response from Sony…..so much for
    customer service

Thanks….well I feel better and worse….Just cant get any response from Sony or the Sony specific forum….at least you guys responded…
The problem is very weird and a pain, as the lines are showing up in my renders as well as on preview……perhaps someone will see this post that has had and solved the issue….in the meantime, I keep bugging sony….

Thanks….and great idea….I have posted 2 screen shots….one frame apart, on a basic zoom out on a white background….you can see the random lines to the bottom right and left horizontal and vertical….in the next frame, they are gone….Hope this helps…

As for event pan-crop or track motion, Im going to show my ignorance…Im just using a zoom transition from the menu….was unaware of an option there..

64 bit version of 10d will not run….it will open, then almost immediately “stop responding”. Posted this issue in a separate topic.
No help from the Vegas forum yet….

February 27, 2010 at 4:00 pm in reply to: P2 Workflow. Too many audio tracks, how do I get rid of?

Having the same issue with multiple, unwanted audio track being dragged to the timeline with the P2 video. The fixes listed by Adobe and above dont work for me. When I select “mono”, in the source mapping, I dont get an option to deselect any tracks.

When I follow the Adobe workflow, I cant unselect the source audio. I Select clip>audio options> and it does show 4 tracks of audio, but
according to Adobe, I should be able to deselect the channels I dont
want, but I cannot uncheck the “enable” boxes. Im working with the trial version, could this be a problem ? Getting ready to jump the Vegas ship….love the UI, but it is too limited for my needs.

    Thanks
