spoke to soon, yes you can edit metadata for footage, but I need to tag individual clips in my sequence timeline so I can later search for that specific clip. Back to using pen and paper I guess:(

Thanks! missed that, so you can add custom metadata to clips! Somewhat confusing in that you can also rename your clips in the sequence timeline and this doesn’t seem to be reflected in the metadata…

Yeah, thanks Todd..meant clip markers. Personally feel this is a MUST HAVE feature.

One problem is that currently I have several PPro projects each dynamically linked to different AE projects.

Consolidating them all in just one PPro and one AE project is my goal but thinking it might not be possible.

I’ve read elsewhere that many people prefer the Diva-Lite for its portability, but for consistent light quality go with the non-Diva versions. Still not clear as to why there would be any difference.

One more affordable option I am considering is to go with the Coollights fixture+ballast

and then perhaps spend an extra $100 and get the kinoflo bulbs

Now if only channel combiner were 16bit:(

HDR Compander I suppose if I’m using a 16 or 32bit workflow.

Haven’t done a lot of testing with HDR Compander…for 8 bit effects in a 16-32bit project. What are the drawbacks?

LED’s also vary a great deal in their CRI. I have some inexpensive Z96’s, and get fairly decent quality after a custom balance. I have another inexpensive 500LED and even after a custom balance the result is unusable without some tinkering in post.
So, if LED’s, suggest trying and doing your own tests first. My next purchase will be one of the many fluorescent options out there, Kino Flo or one of the many Kino Flo ‘clones’ if I am confident the light quality is as good.
