    Yes “workaround” was a bad choice of words. I did (finally) realize that the preview window is frame accurate and that’s what I should be using for accuracy rather than the timeline. Vegas is such a vast software I continue to learn new things from it. By the way I reposted Batdance on youtube if you still wanted to see it. Thanks

    I was trying to match beats in a song to sync with the action in a video and for some reason I seem to be out of sync because the image in the preview window differed slightly from the image that the cursor was over in the timline. Maybe by a fraction of a frame. Anyway I solved the problem by working around it and matched up the beats just fine. The video by the way is called the Batdance and you can see it online at youtube.com. Just search for jimdevo. You can also comment on it if you like. Thanks for the interest.
