I have experienced a similar problem with vegas, my solution was and still is, changing the memory ram for video preview, in the preferences.
My system has 8gb of ram, in the video preview, vegas tells me that i can use 7100 mb available for video preview, when I let this with this amount, my renders never ends, they stay stuck at “x”percent, etc.
so, if you change the value to a lower value just before rendering, lets say from 7100mb(in my case) to 8-16-32-64gb of memory for video preview, it works, it always works.
give it a try, and try what J.R. replied to you, there is a lot of tricks avoid this kind of issues.

Thanks, J.R., I will check and I will give it a try.

Ok I see your point, have you test it with different clips?
is always the same result?
if you render the project, is the output doing the same? -
I am sorry for interrupt, Mr. Rofrano, but when you said “f you do use any slo motion you might want to re-enable resample to smooth things out” I wonder if the same aplies to the slow motion that twixtor does?
I have used twixtor and its great, but i always disable resample because when I left it on, i can see some “ghosting”on my videos after rendering. (My usual video is about cars, cars racing or drifting, so there is always a lot of motion)
by the way, your tutorials are the best!! thanks a lot.

Hello there, I am not an expert but I think you should tell us what video format you are using, since, In my opinion, my guess is that you could have a video format issue.
are both clips the same format?
Hope to see this solved.

Greetings Michelle, I hope to help you, since I think I got it.
When I saw your images, i said to me, “ok, it looks like fragments with some rays highlights from the background” but later I read your comment telling that those are clips flying towards the viewer.
The thing is, this is called “Track Motion”
check the image below:

you need to have several clips, in several video tracks, then, you can arrange them into groups or in just 1 group (because you can have the option to do some parent motion*)
*parent motion: (I suggest you to check tutorials on youtube)
this is when you arrange a group of clips “below” the main video track, and you can move them all individually or collectively.
Maybe this is tricky for you to understand but to know best, the best way is doing some practice.
I have used this effect but not in that way (moving towards the viewer) but moving in a circular fashion, check it here:

When I was working on my video, I found an incredible tool that Mr. Rofrano offers via vasst’s website:
https://vasst.com/store/sony-vegas-plug-ins/scattershot-3d-1.aspxI found this reading this Thread:
https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/24/961407I hope to help you, sorry for my long answer, but I am still obsessed with this track motion thing and I hope to see the guys around here, I have learned so much from them, they ROCK!!
Sorry for my bad english, kindest regards from Dominican Republic.

April 7, 2015 at 7:57 am in reply to: Annoying change in the view from the video track and preview displayWorked perfectly, I just realized that my mouse had problems when clicking, after a mouse change, everything is just fine, and your soulution worked aswell, thanks a lot!
by the way, I wonder why is that mode enable? I mean, when the preview screen splits in 2, why is that? I wonder if someone can tell me, the more I know about vegas, the more amazing it is to me, so many features and such.
Kindests of regards, from Dominican Republic

Thanks you all for your input and feedback.
Mr Rofrano is right, mocha can do some track and it does some perspective work, but to do a full 3D rotation without looking weird is not possible (at least for me, in my novice level of mocha user -started learning few days ago).
I was thinking in a more dedicated tool like cinema4d, or hitfilm (I have never used or had both software, I want to try after effects but I want to master vegas a little bit more before doing the jump from vegas to AE).
At least, I know I can do some good 2D “3D” objects on vegas using mocha and vegas itself (and BCC plugings).
I already try my first time and I just attached a screenshot about the outcome.
Now I will focus to get better with the tools I already have in hand (vegas, bcc, mocha) and later I will try to get cinema4D, Hitfilm and AE.
I love this forum, I hope to help people with my knowledge just like all you do.
Best regards from Dominican Republic my friends.
