It definately isnt my comp chokign up. its just a 15 mb render. I’ve played back 1 gig renders QT renders just fine. I’ve read some posts talking about this says I should add other stuff in to trick the eye to not see it. Something AE is doing to the movement that it just bumps. I’ll try to deinterlaced settings. Thanks

I’m seeing the Jitter in the render and in the Ram preview. Its as if the pan is moving smoothly then hits a bump or two on the way every sec or so. I would be using this for NTSC. I feel stupid but I’m not sure what you’re talking about when setting the appropriate field. I’ll try and search some things for expressions but I’m just wondering why this is such a problem when its a simple pan. Thanks man

It flat out quits. NO error message just says sorry AE has crashed. The files work fine on my laptop I dbl checked to see if they were corrupted. Its completely fine. But when I try to render anything on my Powerbook it goes dead. I have qt 7.01 on my laptop and g5. I did the transfer settings via firewire to my g5. well i’m trashing the preferences so i’ll see happens. thanks

Great Tutorial. Touches on many simple things that happen in 3D. Though I do have one question. What resolution were your png files? I still consider myself a novice with after effects and I’m just building on what i know. Would those files you had to push back in Z space and scale up have to be a pretty high resolution to avoid pixelation? Thanks

What I’ve done is just film it. You just need super bright white paper, black ink and good lighting. A good camera is good too. Then all you do is key and mask, etc. Takes some time but then you cna have a library of cool splatters etc. You’ll make a mess so make sure u have something ot protect your white walls and rug. Watch that new eminem video for apple. Also you can scan those splatters layer them on top of each other and play with opacity and masks to reveal the splatter.
