hmmm, thanks Peter. Both computer and fw drive are new and seem to work fine except for this problem capturing some types of footage. Vegas doesn’t actually say I’m getting dropouts, there’s a counter that reads 0 dropouts but the capture footage just ain’t right, it’s glitchy. I mean a problem with both drives??? and they’re new – I guess it’s possible but…
I don’t know what to do. I tried it again last night, same deal. The footage in camera looks and plays great but something is happening on the way into the computer and no one seems to know what. If this keeps up I’ll have to spend more money on a new app. Just exasperated.
