Thanks for the replies. Are there specific settings that youd recommend for the highest possible quality? Detailed description would be a huge help. Thanks so much!!

Vegas just gets to 25% and stops rendering. Although the expected time of completion still counts down, the program itself stops responding. I did render an 8bit copy, but I need 32bit full range.. ANY RENDER SETTINGS OR TEMPLATES YOUD RECOMMEND FOR A DVD OUTPUT?

Thats what I thought too, but when I change the quality, it changes the placement of the crash to a different clip, but still at the same 25%….

Thanks for the reply. I installed cs6 and decided to revert back to cs5 because of certain plugins not being compatible. So, now when I try and add the presets again, it says “After Effects error: This version of CC Glass is only for use with After Effects CS6 (517)

Yes and yes. I opened the project files in Vegas 11 and they worked fine… I’ve also used Quicktime to jpeg, png and animation, but obviously animation is huge and jpeg seems to be under-performing when it comes to color and quality. Quicktime to h.264 are a reasonable size and hold quality very well. What would you recommend??

Thanks for the reply and yes they’re NOT muted. I believe it has something to do with Vegas having trouble with the h.264 codec. The clips will work and then not randomly. I’m not sure what could have caused it. I use after effects and render the clips out as .mov with an h.264 codec and never had an issue until now… Any recommendations or advice?

How are you copying the individual clips in the existing project, out of vegas to begin with. I’m having a similar issue. I’m trying to get them into CS5..

I wasn’t using any FX. And I suspended the preview while capturing. I’ve done everything I can think of…
