How do I copy a selection of clips and their markers to another project? I can’t seem to find a way to bring the markers along.

    Cheers,

    Gilles

How are you copying the individual clips in the existing project, out of vegas to begin with. I’m having a similar issue. I’m trying to get them into CS5..

Markers are not related to events. They are related to the timeline. (which is why they don’t cut and paste with events)

You can cut and paste Markers from the Edit Details window. View | Edit Details (Alt+6) Just select them in one project and paste them into the other from this view.

That’s a pretty good workaround John. Thanks!

I guess a better workflow would be to name the “takes” via their property window.

Can you suggest/recommend a better technique to name/organize footage on the timeline when doing a documentary style project?
