Open the HDLink utility go to settings and make sure “scale video to fill larger display” is checked. does that help?

No luck on my end. Still dealing with it. Have emailed with blackmagic about it, but they blame mountain lion. I mentioned if its mountain lion how come Aja doesn’t have the same issues. They said they will continue to look into it but haven’t heard anything since. Everytime they update the driver I cross my fingers

Also, if this isn’t happening with AJA then Mountain Lion can’t be fully blamed.

I hear ya. The more people that report it the more attention it will hopefully get. This may be too optimistic, but 10.8.3 should be out soon. Maybe there is a chance it fixes what mountain lion broke.

As much as the finger is being pointed at Mountain Lion, I was also told this. “The issue is still open with the engineers and if there is something they’re able to do, they will do their best to implement it.”

You’ll need something like the HDLINK to hook up a broadcast signal to a computer monitor. Aja makes a similar product.
