I did get it to do what i wanted after i changed the preview pane to best/full. Made my changes to the photo and put it back into the project and it works fine now.

Thanks for the tip. I didn’t realize the preview size would make a difference even when saving a picture.

I believe i figured out why the button images were hazy looking. I had the buttons regions rather large and they were overlapping. If i moved them apart farther, they looked ok.

Thank You Mike. You explained it very well.

My headphone/mic is a good quality set, and i have a very good sound card. It was working fine before, but after my last format, switching to Vista it seems to have a very low output volume along with a slight mettalic ringing sound to it. I have been coresponding with Creative techs with no help yet.
