Thanks to everyone for their input. I found my problem to be a couple of things. Yes parralex was an issue. I had my logo pretty far of center and a rather severe camera pan and truck move. Also, I found a couple out of position key frames off by 1 frame from my desired key point. I found those by macro zooming into my timeline and checking all on my layers.

Like I said … Monday morning brain freeze. THanks again for the input I did get some useful information from the discourse on the subject.

Both layers are 3D layers. The Photoshop Logo is Precomped with no layer moves in it. Neither layer has the collapse transformation option selected.

  • As always the simple is never so simple. Give me the complicated task at least then I know up front it’s going to be a challenge. I have abandoned the idea of being inside a sphere and just placed a flat layer in the back behind all my other layers.

    Thanks everyone for your input.

    Dan-

For some reason I am unable to change any text tool parameters using any of the related pallets. I had assumed this because it was not the basic text effect but text from the text tool. Based on that then there is something wrong with my AE install or there must be a setting buried someplace that I need to change.

Dan is there away to change the text alignment from the current left align to right alignment? The 1’s and 0’s don’t quite line up for clean masking.

I figured that’s what I had run up against. I will try a combination of both fixes listed. Thanks Dan and Mike for the feedback.
