Transparent logo
Hello all.
Been messing around with Photoshop and AE trying create a transparent clear logo from a color logo. Like the NBC peacock. Just not happy with what I been getting. I sliced each color into a layer and removed all color information to be working with just a greyscale image. Can’t seem to get the contrast right where the edges are white and the other areas go transparent. Still have to much grey in the final outputs.
Any ideas?

Have you tried any transfer mode?
Sometimes they work very well, better than opacity. -
Here is a PS tutorial on making a transparent logo. It may point you in the right direction. Then import to AE.
