Was just having this problem, and thought I’d chime in. Quite awhile back, the GHOST TAG used to be a part of the JENNA plugin pack, the forerunner of mograph. I used it constantly. I sure wish someone would build a simple on/off switch for tex tags, sometimes they I’ve painstakingly applied several to different objects, and putting the on dummies or otherwise moving them is just not practical. One thing you can do though, is type some garbage into the selection field. This is a quick and simple way, at least for when a selection is not already applied to that tag. And for godsakes, don’t forget you used this method or you’ll be pulling your hair out trying to figure out where the tex is when you want it back!
