November 4, 2011 at 11:22 pm in reply to: The dreaded “Could not Play because the CPU was unable to process the video quickly enough” error.Working with AJA support, they suggested I move the AJA card to slot 2 and I moved the M100 card to slot 4. This seems to have done the trick. I have played an HD ProRes clip at 50% opacity above an HD Animation clip without error. Fingers crossed, I think it’s solved!
Thanks for your help!

November 4, 2011 at 8:46 pm in reply to: The dreaded “Could not Play because the CPU was unable to process the video quickly enough” error.I have the LHe, 9.0.5 is the latest driver for that mode I believel. I’m not sure what the driver difference between the LHe and the LHi are.
There are no QT component conflicts shown at the bottom of the info box.
Thanks again for helping!

November 4, 2011 at 6:51 pm in reply to: The dreaded “Could not Play because the CPU was unable to process the video quickly enough” error.Aja are drivers are current. Media 100 prefs have dumped.
Drives checked out good by disk warrior. Now setting the Video output of media 100 to none changes the game. It plays out perfect (even with AE rendering in the background) So that’s something…

June 27, 2011 at 3:50 pm in reply to: Apple ProApps codecs and others now freely available (sort of)I followed these steps, and the codecs installed. The codecs are available in the Media 100 codec drop down menu. But every time I select it and switch to Digitize mode, the system locks up. The codecs do not work in QT either. Any solution to this, or did I install wrong? Media 100 V 1.7 QT 7.6.9

Thanks Floh. I’m leary as I’ve always worked on SCSI and it’s been flawless. My SCSI drives are way faster than my internal drives, and in my head ESata drives are the same as my internal Sata drives. I have an FW800 drive hooked up to my system to back things up on, but I would never consider cutting on it.
I guess I’m just looking for reassurance that ESata will work well Before I make the leap.

ARRRGGGG… $#$#$@%^…… You guys are right, I delved into the calibrated software I have the AVC-intra decode license, but the calibrated MXF importer is in Demo mode! I can play the clips, I just can’t import the D$%N things.
So it appears I have to buy ANOTHER calibrated add on… Only $180 bones!
I’ll import them with my Edius, which doesn’t need all of these freaking add-ons. -
I don’t think so, as the trial version put the Calibrated watermark all over the video. I paid for it (calibrated MXF import) and put the code in and now the water mark is gone. I have been previously using video brought over from and Edius system and Media 100 imported the whole file. This is the first time I have directly imported from the P2 card.
