ive done some more research and this is a problem seen in fcp4.5. everyone says once you have 5 it works fine but it doesnt work for me.
anyone else have this problem?????

hmmm…
i found where to make sure it was set to rgb- and it is. but it still wont play…. -
its a computer monitor.
how do i make sure the canvas monitor is set to rgb?

the easiest way to go about fixing this problem is to close the log and capture window, reopen it and press play. that error appears just because the play button is not selected.
