apple is a corporation(my favorite one). corporations do evil things- like leave something out of an application so that you’re forced to use another one of their applications to complete the job.

this may help…
deinterlace your footage on the HDV timeline. Output the whole video to HDV. Then bring it back in onto a DV timeline.
it worked for me and came out very nicely.

go into your settings and make sure “built-in audio” is selected

clean install, new system(dual 2.7 w/ 4 gigs). no final cut crashes. one motion.
Edited majority HDV some DV, and converted media into many different formats. very stable. very happy.jeremy lee

i had unchecked mirror on desktop. now its checked and now it works.
