    Hi Ann!

Thanks for the tip. I bought the app and ran my clip through it, but I don’t see color depth information in there:

Am I being dense and just not seeing it?

    Thanks for your time!

I realize this is an ancient thread, but perhaps it can help someone looking into the same topic.

One good way to make a perfect loop is to make a cut on a clip, duplicate it and set it next to itself and reverse the second clip. You will end up with a near perfect loop if the action allows for it to take place in reverse.

Worked like a charm. I’m a little embarrassed that I didn’t just try that. Must work on my inner scientist.

Thanks Shane! You live up to your reputation as usual.

  • I have the same exact issue. Did you ever figure it out? I would love to know if this is possible.

    Thanks!

Having a similar issue with a similar setup. Ever resolve the issue?

  • Hi there,

I’m having the same issue. Did you ever resolve the issue?

Frame rates and codecs are not the problem on my end as the project has many clips from the same camera and only one has a mysterious stuttering issue.

    frustrating…

  • Thank you for your responses.

The problem appeared to stem from the hard drive transfer. I used the consolidation tool in the clip menu instead to move the clips from the P2 cards to my hard drives and now they are running smoothly. A strange issue, but at least it’s resolved.

  • Hi Shane,

Thank you for your response. I had found out about the 59.94 through my research and showed no change.

Strange thing though, now I’m seeing that if I play the footage directly from the P2 cards in the camera, the footage is fine. Whilst when I play AMA footage that I transferred to my hard drive, I am having problems with slowed down image and jitters. Perhaps copying straight from the P2 cards to the hard drive is not the best way to transfer the footage…?
