I dunno if they make it for apples, but Kingston makes awesome memory – and they have a lifetime warranty on it if anything goes wrong – used it a few times myself hehe (other than abuse of course)…

  • Very nicely done 🙂 I like the theme too hahahahah

if you can get your hands on trapcode shine though.. you can make the effect much more realistic..

I haven’t done anything with it like you have, but I plan to in the near future.. need a battery for my camera and I don’t have the $60 for it *shrugs*

    Nice work tho 🙂

Maybe it’s me being tired, or youtube being youtube – but I don’t see any flickering 🙁

Also that’s very nicely done i might add – good job 😉

Jeremy Thanks for the link – I just realized I HAVE seen that tutorial before and forgot all about it..

The turntable idea is exactly what I should have thought to do… sry if I confused anyone about needing the actual camera mimicked.

I’m basically trying to arc around myself so I can get the profile shots and the front shot in sequence.

Imagine looking at the side of a plane’s cockpit, and as the person gets in, the camera arcs around the nose of the plane to the other side, looking at the actor the entire time.

Thanks for all the help every one 🙂

I *want* to say precomp it and play with the scale.. that *MIGHT* work – but part of me doubts it since I’ve never played with the stroke on there.

If this helps awesome – if not I hope someone else will say something more intelligent than what I did hehehe

This is in AE-CS3 i dont know if its diff in other versions as i haven’t used them.

In your composition view at the bottom of that little panel theres the current time indicator. immidiately to its left theres a button looks like a square missing a corner made from dots – this is called “Toggle Mask And Shape Path Visibility”.

You may have accidentally clicked that. Click it and see if that helps. 🙂

Oh yah – the comp size solid we made in the begining is just to make your path on – when you’re done using it as a cookie sheet, go ahead and delete it.

You only need 1 for the whole project, just copy the path from it and delete it when you’re done with however many layers you did.
