Hooray all done wrong folder for me it was telling vegas to look in Steinberg for Izotope and bring it all back i.e.

C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VstPlugins

again thanks for seeing it was audio related John the penny dropped then for me.

I did some enhancements to audio using Izootope plugins on those veg files I can no longer open and yes Izotope seems they are now missing when I open up a new vegas project from scratch to see the izotope fxs have gone from doing it seems the vegas reset thing I mentioned !

I have no idea how to add them back to see if previous veg issues can then be opened as it was a while back we added Izotope any ideas please John?

Would doing maybe a pc windows 8 restore point to before the last 24 hours when I did vegas reset likely bring it all back?

I went into vegas preferences and vst told it to look into C:Program FilesCommon FilesVST3iZotope
seems to be ok now and can open up the problematic veg file

But it does not appear to have added izotope any of them also the project file warning said this and others were missing Plug-in: ‘iZotope RX 3 Declipper’ failed to load. Please make sure the plug-in is properly installed.

so no idea why Izotope is not being added from the destination folder for VST and then even domne apply and rebooted vegas

Any ideas?

many thanks for doing the clean up audio demo HOWEVER it is knowing as explained though – Specifically HOW to do it as non the wiser
Denoiser for reduction of background sea noise and Spectral Repair

Any chance If you could or anyone explaining for me and others to this forum may find helpful too maybe screens shots even or better still a video capture?

As already mentioned No idea what to press and do using these tools Denoiser and Spectral Repair

*****The tutorial found via youtube ones were all about music or the person on vid presumed the user knows certain things!! and was too techie speaking and nothing step by step for total newbies using these tools as if talking to a teenager or old person. (Adobe audition are great tutorials and step-by step so many out there in comparison)

I tried using Denoiser as already said – for reducing sound of sea this is how I used that tool;

I had it on manual I played a clip while pressing learn
then on play back seeing what changes it had done

And yes the sea had been dramatically removed *****BUT now voice itself was not nice muffled and ‘electronic like’

And to be honest the sound of the clip you kindly edited is also somewhat sound now electronic and muffled (not as bad as mine) However until I hear a longer version of cleaned up edited audio clip hard to say but impressed with dog barking removed!

Kind of you to do this and send back the demo just need to know how to use it as mentioned per my original post

Great Many thanks I have two short audio samples then…with dogs barking and sound of sea while talk to camera was going on at the beach they are aif files rendered from sony vegas pro to my pc is that ok?

how do I upload them please to here and this thread
when using this editor I saw an icon at the top saying video upload but none for file upload?

Thanks John for explaining, The Levelator is not supported now it seems they say on the link website.
I have windows 8.1 also it says it was for pod casts anyways?
However did try it seems to work fine and exported it from vegas as wav back in and wow made a significant difference indeed!
Infact some area are even slightly clipping now any suggestions?

(yes the mic level at the time on Camera was too low and battery for mic problem hence low audio)

Track Compressor you mentioned I presume that can only work on entire track for audio rather then per individual event media clip basis?

I could maybe pull up some video youtubes how to use that Track Compressor etc bound to be some.

*****please advise here as follow my thought workflow on doing this….
Should I just create a new project file and import just the media clips with same typical low volume that was done same day and try playing with Track Compressor rather then a project file that has low and clipping at times volume?

My thoughts were I could then render out once volume is better as an mp4 etc those low volume now corrected and add them to the ok volume clips also now rendered as mp4 and create one overall final media event mix down I need that had the low and high volume video talk to camera in

If I have a few nmedia events that their audio volume is clipping at times what is the simple easiest way to help correct this approach and to use please?

thanks for how to export sound audio over to Adobe Audition etc, here is my thoughts;

I wanted to likely work mainly with mainly Izotope RX3 and need to learn this though as said already all vids realy I saw were music editing and was none the wiser plus they so often the way they come across presume you know already about RX3 and not very user friendly for newbies! I did see some simple enough ones on voice narration clean up using noise Denoiser but frankly anything else was based around music and hard to follow as mentioned and understand!

So Hence rather then trying to spend ages locating searching decent video tuts on Izotope RX3 and its plugin etc based on voice narration clean up etc I may have to simply export to Adobe Audition since plenty on cleaning up voice and stuff videos tuts I understand and can likely do…..so thanks for how to export sound audio over to this
