    Thanks!

Here is the look within the logo that is being misinterpreted:

    Logo black center

Here is how it looks when I bring it in to ProAnimator:
    Proanimator interpretation

I am currently using the paths that were set up by the designer of the logo, but I do have the Illustrator file to make the changes necessary for ProAnimator.

Thanks in advance for any advice you can give me.

Ok, I solved the mystery…well sort of. I downloaded updates, restarted, and created my document from scratch in Illustrator. Now, when I hit Save, the dialog options box appears and I can turn Compression OFF!

I have no idea why the other document wouldn’t save, but now, I’m happy and ready to import into ProAnimator.

When I choose export, I can’t save it as an AI file.

I am so confused by this issue. When I hit save, I have no “Illustrator Options” pop-up and no checkbox for compression settings.

If I try to import the file into ProAnimator, it gives me the “no vector paths..make sure Compression is turned OFF” error message.

I am saving as an Illustrator file, but I am not seeing the options box. As a side note, I can’t get the “save as a version” option to work either. I was going to work around it by saving as an older version, but that option isn’t available to me.

I’m not seeing a checkbox no matter how I save it. I’ll spend more time in it and figure out my problem.

    Thanks

Ok, stupid question, but I’m going out of my mind.

I’m working in Illustrator CS2. How do you turn the compression off?

Thank you for your assistance. I will try this and in the future will probably be a proud owner of Illustrator (and After effects!)

    Thanks,

I just got ProAnimator and am ‘just playing’ right now to learn it. It’s awesome and I love how much you can do within the program. I wish I had Illustrator, but don’t since I use Apple Final Cut and Motion, not the Adobe Suite.

I have my own logo I wanted to mess around with, within ProAnimator, but don’t know how to prep it to bring it in.

How would I create a path with vector info in Photoshop? My logo is a tripod with an eye on top. You can see it at http://www.premierimageprod.com. Is this logo too complex to add the vector paths to? I’m more of a video editor than graphic artist, but am moving into 3D animation.

Thanks in advance for any help!

It’s doing it on every one. I might have to make movie files of each sequence and then create a sequence that has each new movie file instead of combining all sequences. It would take so much time…. But, I’m wasting a lot of time with this and getting no results.
