That’s what I thought as well, but the thing is that in that case I should have a little bar underneath the video track where I could add keyframes to the track effect – and I don’t. Also, when I open the Track FX from the track header, I can see that there aren’t any effects applied – see screenshot: https://images.creativecow.net/249412/screenshot3.jpg
When adding the effects, I only used that little button on the clip which you mentioned.
Another thing is that if I add a new video track above that one, and add the original footage into it, the effects is automatically applied there as well. Any ideas about what might be causing this?
Yes, I’m dragging the video onto the Make New Composition icon in order to create the composition, and the settings in the Interpret Footage window are fine. But somehow the rendering process creates a file that has a different pixel aspect ratio and field order. I don’t see any place in the Render Queue where I can input the correct settings…
Yeah, I figured it would be much easier to do this on the set itself, but those things don’t come cheap at all here… Can anyone offer some general directions on how this is done in post-production?
I didn’t shoot the film yet, so I don’t have an image, but there would be 3 different shots where this needs to happen, and I want to have the light reflect on two character’s skin, and the surroundings.
